Pricing

Fees & Pricing

MiniCache is free to sell on. Sellers keep 100% of their listing price. Buyers pay a small protection fee that funds dispute resolution and keeps the platform running.

Seller fee

0%

No listing fees, no final value fees, no monthly subscription. You set a price, you receive that price.

Buyer Protection Fee

5% + 50p

Charged to the buyer at checkout, on top of the listing price. Funds Buyer Protection coverage and platform costs.

Example transaction

Listing price (set by seller)£20.00
Buyer Protection Fee (5% + 50p)£1.50
Buyer pays at checkout£21.50
Seller receives£20.00

Shipping costs

Sellers set their own shipping prices when creating a listing. Shipping is added to the listing price at checkout, and the buyer protection fee is calculated on the listing price only (not on postage).

Sellers can purchase discounted postage labels through MiniCache via our Shippo integration on the order detail page. Label costs are charged separately.

How payouts work

Sellers connect a Stripe Express account during onboarding. When a sale completes, the listing amount is transferred directly to the seller's connected Stripe account.

Stripe's standard payout schedule applies — typically 2 business days for UK bank accounts after the first payout (which may take 7–14 days as Stripe verifies the account). You can view your payout schedule in your Stripe Express dashboard.

Funds may be held if a buyer dispute is active. Once a dispute is resolved in the seller's favour, any held funds are released.
