Help & Guides › Getting Started as a Seller
Sellers
MiniCache charges sellers 0% in fees — you keep everything you make. Buyers pay a small protection fee on top of your listing price, so you always receive exactly what you list. Here is how to get set up in a few minutes.
Create your account
Head to minicache.co.uk/auth/register and sign up with your email address, or continue with Google. You will be asked to choose a username — this is what buyers will see on your listings.
Connect your Stripe account
MiniCache pays you directly via Stripe. Go to your Dashboard and click Connect Stripe. You will be taken to Stripe's own onboarding flow, which takes around 5 minutes.
Stripe will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and bank account details so they can pay you. This information goes directly to Stripe — MiniCache never sees your bank details.
Take good photos
Listings with clear photos sell significantly faster. You do not need special equipment — a phone camera and a plain background are enough.
See our Photography Tips guide for simple techniques that make a real difference.
Create your listing
Click Sell in the navigation or go to List an Item. Fill in:
When your item sells
You will receive a notification when a buyer completes checkout. The funds will be transferred to your Stripe account automatically, minus any Stripe processing fees (typically around 1.5% + 20p for UK cards).
Head to your Dashboard to find the order, purchase a postage label, and mark the item as dispatched. You can message the buyer directly if you need to confirm their address or arrange collection.
Do I pay any fees to sell?
No. MiniCache charges sellers 0% in platform fees. Stripe charges a small payment processing fee (around 1.5% + 20p for UK cards) which is deducted by Stripe before your payout.
When do I get paid?
Stripe typically transfers funds to your bank account within 2–7 days of a sale, depending on your Stripe payout schedule.
Can I cancel or edit a listing?
Yes. Go to your Dashboard to edit or remove any active listing at any time. Once a buyer has paid, the listing is locked.
What if a buyer raises a dispute?
We encourage buyers to message the seller first. If you cannot resolve it together, contact us at support@minicache.co.uk and we will help mediate.
